We provide high quality canvas bags for purchase in our Farm Market; they are the very best we could find. We insisted on finding a ‘Made in Canada’ product, and these are individually crafted by Envirothreads in Lindsay, Ontario using USA cotton. They are printed in Orillia, Ontario using a vegetable-based ink and should stand washing quite well. We are selling them at cost hoping you will find
them useful and others will spot our logo and website as you pack
your apples and groceries!

ABOUT THE MARKET The Farm Market at SMITHS' features many bins and baskets brimming with freshly picked apples, and also offers other farm produce such as deliciously sweet carrots, garlic, and many varieties of squash. We bake delectable homemade treats daily in our in-store Artisan Bakery and produce fresh pressed sweet apple cider in our Cider House. We also offer locally made preserves, honey from our own hives, maple products and more. Come in for a taste! |

FRESH IN-STORE APPLES Many varieties of apples freshly picked from the orchard fill bins inside the market. Take home some of your favourites or try a new variety for fun! We bake mouthwatering home-style baked goods daily in the Artisan Bakery. Some of these include apple pies, apple crisps, and apple turnovers (shown right).

OTHER PRODUCE The Farm Market boasts other fresh produce besides our delicious crunchy apples. We pride ourselves on our pesticide-free super sweet carrots, fresh local garlic, and many interesting types of pumpkins, gourds and squash. |

LOCAL PRODUCTS The Market is also well stocked with local jams and jellies made by Windy Hill Preserves, which include our own crabapple jelly. We have honey from our own hives and the best maple products, made by our neighbours down the road, The Stoners'. Come on in for apple peelers and cutters, Photo Art Cards by Tim Lanthier Photography, fudge, brittles, and more. These items make wonderful gifts! Fresh apple cider is pressed every week at our Cider House during the season- it is sweet and delicious! |
