EDUCATIONAL TOURS
SOME INFORMATION ON TOURS
• Teachers are welcome to bring a list
of points they would like covered during the tour, and our instructors
will do their best to incorporate them into the lesson.
• Expect to be at the farm for about two hours. Please
do not bring packed lunches as we do not have the appropriate
facilities.
• Please advise students to dress appropriately for the
weather. If there is a chance of rain bring umbrellas, raincoats
and boots. There will be plenty of walking on grass, straw,
and dirt, so appropriate footwear is a must.
• We advise you to bring an EpiPen® if there are any
students with an insect sting allergy.
• For cancellations due to inclement weather, please phone
Smiths’ the morning of the tour.
