Baked Apples with Oatmeal Streusel

4 large apples
1/4 quick-cooking oats (not instant)
1/4 C brown sugar
2 tbsp diced dried fruit (dates, apricots, cranberries, raisins)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp margarine
1/3 C apple juice or apple cider

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Core apples and remove a third of the peel from the top of each apple. Place in a baking pan or pie plate.

Combine oats, brown sugar, dried fruit and cinnamon. Fill each apple, packing firmly and patting any remaining mixture on top.

Place 1/2 tsp margarine on top of each apple. Pour apple juice around apples.

Bake 35-45- minutes.
