Maple Butter Tarts

Filling for 24 large tarts:

3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 C maple syrup
1 1/2 C brown sugar
3 tsp vinegar
1/2 C melted butter
1 C chopped walnuts

Whisk together eggs, salt, maple syrup, brown sugar, and vinegar. Add melted butter and walnuts.

Bake in 450 degree F oven for 7 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 5-6 minutes more.
